REGARDING RESULTS OF THE STUDY FOR 1996/1997

I would like to summarize the results of the program in the years 1996 and 1997 here.

The foundation regards the study of magnetism as a major enterprise, and we believe that the most recent results support our contention, as adding to the body of knowledge on magnetic phenomena.

Our researchers are confident that these results will receive the attention they merit in the scientific community.

With new discoveries regarding the nature of magnetism have come many improvements in magnetic science technology, and new devices that have helped to improve the lives of many in our rapidly aging society.

The Magnetic Health Science Foundation was established for the explicit purpose of supporting research and promoting further study in magnetism.

And this presentation is a result of the study furtherance. We did it with the aim of presenting it to the world.

PRESENTING THE STUDY RESULTS

Our foundation is now in its 6th year, after being established in May 1994.

During this time we were able to promote and spread magnetic health science, with the help of many. This is especially true for the foundation's main enterprise, the study furtherance of magnetic health science, which we were able to encourage in each of the five years between 1994 and 1998.

Each year, we receive many applications, and upon review, we have been able to extend to the promising cases appropriate study furtherance. Each one of the selected studies has had a valuable study theme and has contributed to the development of our foundation.

Beginning in 1997, we have also been increasing our efforts to seek applicants for study furtherance from overseas. We have already published our results regarding the studies from 1994 and 1995, and here we present the study results from 1996 and 1997. In 1995, we were able to offer study furtherance support to 13 out of 32 applicants, and in 1996 we provided the same to 11 out of 28 who applied.

It is the foundation's pleasure to present these results. We would also like to extend our thanks to the professionals who have participated in these studies.

We hope that these studies will lead to future work, and contribute to the continued development of magnetic health science.

The foundation will continue this study furtherance, the investigation of technical trends, and the support and promotion of magnetic health science. We appreciate your continued support and cooperation.
